Ninjaman Heart Attack?

Ninjaman Rushed To Hospital During Murder Trail

Deejay Ninjaman has been hospitalised after reportedly complaining about an intense stomach pain during court proceeding of his murder trial on Friday

"I heard that he is not well, he had been complaining of a terrible stomach pain, but I wasn't at court today, I am leaving and heading down to court now and find out which hospital he is being treated," Patricia, the mother of one of Ninjaman's sons, told Loop Jamaica reporter Claude Mills on Friday.

The dancehall icon had been taken into custody two weeks ago after his bail was revoked by High Court judge, Justice Martin Gayle. He has remained behind bars at the Central Station in Kingston since that time despite the efforts of his lawyer to get his bail reinstated.

Ninjaman, born Desmond Ballentyne, is charged along with his son, Janeil, and another accused, Dennis Clayton, for the death of Ricardo Johnson in 2009.

The cases, which involve charges of shooting with intent, were first mentioned in court the same year, with close to 40 other dates since then.

A number of witnesses have given compelling testimony in the case so far.
